Me and My Community
These are some of the photos from our practical workshop in collaboration with Skaped, using the following themes as guidelines: fashion, colour, pattern and nature. We gave each pair a disposable camera and had 45 minutes to walk around the Aldgate area to use their cameras to interpret their given theme. The following are the results of their mission.
Personally I have always loved disposable cameras; It’s not about the technicalities of photography but about everything else (it does help to understand how to get the best of out of disposable cameras though ). In a subsequent session, each pair were then given the task to edit their selection and put up the results on the wall focusing on finding and applying a narrative to their chosen selection. It’s always amazing to see a project coming together step by step.
